Player Widget
The Hulu Player Widget lets you watch Hulu videos directly from the widget. It also makes it easy to view your queue and track featured, recently added and most popular videos on Hulu from your desktop, personal home page and social networking sites.
From the widget, you can add items to your queue, post them to your blog or favorite social networking sites, or email them to your friends. Change your default view from the Preferences menu: choose between your queue or Hulu’s featured, most popular or recently added videos.

Hulu was founded in March 2007 by NBC Universal and News Corp and is operated independently by a dedicated management team with offices in Los Angeles, New York, and Beijing. Hulu closed a $100 million investment from private equity firm Providence Equity Partners in October 2007.

Content: Hulu brings together a large selection of videos from more than 50 content providers, including FOX, NBC Universal, MGM, Sony Pictures Television, Warner Bros. and more. Users can watch current primetime TV such as The Simpsons and The Office the morning after they air, classics like Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Married…with Children, movies like The Usual Suspects and The Big Lebowski, and clips from Saturday Night Live and other popular TV shows and movies.

Hulu is designed with a singular focus on providing an exceptional, online video viewing experience. You can customize the experience to fit your viewing preferences. Watch videos in full screen. If you’re multi-tasking, pop out the video player from the web page and place it anywhere on your computer screen, and you can even re-size the pop-out window if necessary. You can even dim the lights and mute the rest of the browser window to minimize distractions while you’re watching the video.
Video quality is very important to us. We adjust the video bitrate between 480Kbps and 700Kbps depending on your bandwidth. Leveraging the H.264 capability of the new Flash Player 9, we also now offer a portion of our content in a higher resolution 1,000Kbps stream. Videos available in this format will display with a 480p Hi Res button on the lower right-hand side of the player. If you have sufficient bandwidth and Flash Player 9, click the button to view this high resolution stream.
